Who we are

DataVal is operated by Manas AI LLC, based in Sacramento, California. This policy covers dataval.si, our calculator, contact forms and market intelligence waitlist. Manas AI LLC is responsible for the personal information described here.

Information we collect

Calculator and estimate requests. Our calculator processes employee count, years of retained records and headquarters region to generate an indicative range. Your selected industry and estimate are remembered in your browser for the refinement flow. Calculating a range alone does not create an inquiry record in our submissions database. When you submit your work email to refine your estimate, we store that email with your calculator inputs, industry and estimated range.

Contact and waitlist forms. We collect the name, email address and message you submit through our contact form, and the email you provide for the market intelligence waitlist. We also record the submission type, source page, time and follow-up status. Please do not send raw company datasets, passwords, sensitive personal information or information you are not authorized to share.

Technical information. Our hosting and security services process information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, request times and errors. Our submission service uses a keyed representation of an IP address for rate limiting. Optional Whop tracking is described below.

How we use information

We use information to calculate and explain estimates, respond to messages and refinement requests, notify waitlist subscribers about market intelligence availability, operate the service, prevent abuse and meet applicable legal obligations. We may also analyze submissions to understand interest in licensing company operational data to AI labs and improve DataVal.

Where European or UK data protection law applies, our bases for processing are taking steps you request before entering a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing DataVal and responding to business inquiries, consent for optional tracking and requested marketing updates, and compliance with legal obligations where applicable. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

An estimate is informational. It does not determine your legal rights, guarantee a payment or create a licensing agreement. Submitting a form does not license your company’s data or authorize its use to train AI.

Service providers and disclosures

We use Vercel for hosting and request processing, Supabase for our submissions database, and Whop for our private team inbox access and optional tracking. These providers process information needed to provide their services. Authorized DataVal team members can access submissions to handle inquiries and follow-up. Email correspondence is also processed by the email services used to send and receive it.

We do not sell your contact details or submitted messages to AI labs. A directory listing does not mean that a listed company receives your information. If you ask us to arrange an introduction, we will explain what information is to be shared and with whom before doing so. We may disclose information where necessary to comply with law, protect legal rights or investigate fraud, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable privacy protections.

Cookies and optional tracking

Essential browser storage remembers your cookie choice, your calculator result and whether a submission succeeded. Estimate and receipt information use session storage, which normally ends when the tab’s browsing session ends. Your cookie preference remains until you change it or clear your browser storage.

If you accept tracking, the Whop pixel measures visits and attribution. It can process page URLs, referring URLs, visit times and duration, device and browser characteristics, IP address, cookie and browser identifiers, and device fingerprinting signals. It can also recognize contact identifiers, such as a name or email entered into a form, and associate activity with identifiers available to Whop. This is separate from the information submitted to DataVal for follow-up.

You can choose Essential only in Cookie preferences and continue using the calculator and forms. To change your choice, open Cookie preferences. Withdrawing acceptance prevents future loading of the optional pixel on this browser; it does not undo information already sent. You can also clear stored cookies and identifiers through your browser settings, or contact us about information already collected.

Aggregate market intelligence

We plan to use grouped information about submitted industries, company sizes, retained records and licensing interest to develop market intelligence. This product is not currently available. Published or shared aggregate insights will exclude names, email addresses and message text, and will need grouping and suppression of small or distinctive combinations to avoid identifying a person or company. Identifiable submissions are not a public dataset.

If we propose a materially different use of personal information, we will explain it and obtain consent where required before that use begins.

Retention and security

We retain inquiries while needed to respond, manage an ongoing business discussion and maintain an appropriate record of that interaction. Waitlist details are retained while the requested waitlist service is active or until you ask to leave. Retention decisions consider whether the purpose remains active, your latest interaction, deletion requests, and any legal, fraud-prevention or dispute-related need to keep a limited record. We do not set one fixed period for every category of information.

Information no longer needed for these purposes is deleted or de-identified. Backup copies and provider security logs may persist for their applicable retention cycles. You can request deletion using the privacy contact above; we will explain any applicable exception.

We use encrypted connections, restricted database access and team authorization for our inbox. These measures reduce risk, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Where information is processed

Manas AI LLC is based in the United States, and our submissions database is hosted in the United States. Our providers may process information in other countries where they operate. Privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Where international-transfer rules apply, transfers must use an applicable legal mechanism, such as approved contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your information.

Your privacy choices and rights

You may contact jhillin@manasai.io to ask about your information, request access, correction or deletion, or leave the waitlist. Depending on the laws that apply, you may also have rights to receive a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of particular disclosures or profiling. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any limitation or exception.

You can raise a concern with us or with the relevant privacy regulator, including a supervisory authority in the EEA or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Children and policy updates

DataVal is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.
